The team here at Deer Valley Worship Center is committed to teaching, leading, nurturing and loving children of all ages into the Kingdom of God. We want kids to learn about God and develop a personal relationship with Him in the most fun and exciting way. If you are visiting for the first time, look for our registration kiosks for our First Time families. We will be there to meet your family and check your child in using our electronic check-in system. Then, one of our volunteers will lead your child to the age-appropriate classrooms. We look forward to seeing you soon. If you have any questions or concerns, please read over our FAQ section below.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Children’s Ministry FAQs
Are the Kids areas safe?
Yes, All of our children’s ministry volunteers receive background checks before they are able to work with our Adventure Kids.
How will I be notified if there are any issues concerning my child?
We have a number system. At check-in, you and your child will receive a tag with a number on it that will appear on the screens in the Sanctuary in the event we need you. Depending on the nature of the incident a report will be filed for you and the church’s records.
Where do I go to check my kids in?
We have friendly children’s ministry leaders who will walk you through our quick and easy check-in process. As soon as you arrive, our friendly greeters will meet you at the door and point you in the direction of our check-in Kiosks.
Will my kids eat anything during service?
We provide all snacks for every class. If your child has any allergies, please provide us with necessary information at check-in and it will print out on the tag to inform leaders.
What will my children learn?
Your children will discover their journey with Christ. Our entire curriculum is bible-based material that will help your children grow in their relationship with God at an age appropriate level. They will have a lot of fun with crafts and activities that are centered on the topic for that month.
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. If children leave items after service we hold on to it for a few weeks, and if it is not claimed, we then donate it.
Can my child/children attend service with me?
It is your choice for your children to go to the main service with you. Our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. You decide what is best for your child/children. We want you to know that they are welcomed during any time of the service to come back and join the other children in their appropriate classrooms.
